Did anyone hear that Rapunzel cut her hair?!?!?

Yes it's true!  Don't believe me?  Look at the picture below!  We gave Haley a gift card for a hair cut in her stocking.  We were just hoping for a trim, but she cut off about 18"!!  It's back to her natural color and looks beautiful and healthy.  She misses her hair, but likes that she can wash, dry, and even straighten in much more quickly than before.  And she doesn't have to spend so much money on hair product.

Haley is doing awesome!!  She has that light back in her countenance that has been missing for so long.  She just taught her first YSA Relief Society lesson since she was called and set apart a couple of weeks ago.  She said it went well, she just ran out of time.  She is also serving on the YSA Activities Committee.  But not without adversity, Alofa's health continues to decline.  She is constantly sick and has lost six pounds in the last three weeks.  She eats very little dog food, so Haley has been cooking her eggs and ground beef, and mixing it in, hoping to get her to eat.  But she mostly just picks it out.  She has taken her to a different vet to get a second opinion, awaiting test results.  She was told that Alofa is pooping out her body fat, which is probably indicative of some other underlying problem.  We are starting to wonder if she is going to be around much longer. Although the rest of us won't be heartbroken, we know how much Haley loves that dog, and dread how difficult it is going to be for her.
