Happy Valentine's Day!!

Brad had these lovely roses delivered for me on Valentine's Day.  I was really surprised as he doesn't care much for this particular holiday.  I guess we are getting old because we don't like to go out and deal with the crowded restaurants.  A few years ago I started a new tradition, making a special Valentine's dinner for the family.  I should have taken a picture, but we had heart shaped Seven Layer Bean Dip, with bright pink colored sour cream on top, mozzarella sticks with "red" dipping sauce, chocolate fondue and strawberries, with a drink choice of "red" cream soda, or diet cherry 7-Up, all served up on china and crystal.  It was fun! (Okay, I may have been the only one that thought it was fun, but nobody else had anything better to do) To top it all off, I bought each of them an inexpensive piece of jewelry that had some sort of Celtic knot.  Haley's had the Celtic Love Knot.  I didn't think the guys would think the "Love" knot would be very cool, so they all had a different knot.

  1. Yay! New posts! The truck seems fitting! Glad everyone is happy abt the car situation. We saw Haley's hair when she came and it is amazing to me how much hair she still has when she cut off 18 inches! I only wish...I am nervous for Alofa and Haley. Keep us updated and I love your festive Valentines day! Sad it won't work out for us this week, but hopefully you come back in town SOON!
